Our Story
We met while working on a public awareness campaign to protect sea turtles and their nesting beaches — and quickly discovered a shared passion for wild places, people, and meaningful storytelling.
That’s how Wylde Futures was born. We believe that our combined skills, experience, and energy are a force to be reckoned with. Together, we’re driven by a simple goal: to make this planet a little better, step by step, story by story, project by project. We believe that when creativity and conservation come together, they can spark real change.
Our combined backgrounds in fieldwork, photography, communication, and conservation give us the tools to connect, inspire, and drive action.
At Wylde Futures, we aim to make a positive impact while collaborating with non-profits, companies, and conservation organizations to help them share their missions authentically and protect what truly matters: the future of our wild world.
Meet The Team
About
I’m a photographer, storyteller, conservationist, detection dog handler, and environmentalist — driven by a love for wild places and the stories they hold. It all began behind the camera, documenting rangers, communities, and the last wild corners of Africa. What started as a photography project soon became a lifelong mission to protect the connection between people and the natural world. That journey led me to become the director of a grassroots non-profit, supporting anti-poaching work and helping fund rewilding projects in partnership with Zoo Magdeburg. From there, my path wound through the jungles of Congo with African Parks, where I helped build a K9 unit, to the bright skylines of Dubai, representing the Congo Pavilion at Expo 2020. But no matter how far I’ve traveled, I’ve always been drawn back to the wild — to the dogs, the rangers, and the open landscapes that remind me why this work matters. Most recently, my focus turned to the shores of Crete, where I led a public awareness campaign to protect sea turtles and their nesting beaches. Every chapter of my work has been about connection — between people and place, between story and action, and between curiosity and care for our planet’s last wild spaces. What I Bring to the Team Experience in remote environments — Skilled at working in challenging conditions across Africa and coastal ecosystems, with a deep respect for wildlife and local communities. About
I'm a scientific writer specialising in sustainability reporting, conservation grants, and Planetary Health research. Growing up in Indonesia and the Bornean rainforest sparked my lifelong dedication to conservation. My parents are both conservation scientists, and saw great value in me spending time at site with them, exploring remote Dayak villages and isolated orangutan rehabilitation islands, and I would agree. These experiences showed me first-hand the significance that a healthy environment plays for people and the planet, particularly when held against the stark contrast of acres-upon-acres of degraded monoculture surrounding these ever decreasing pockets of pristine forest. My formal education started in biomedical sciences, but it was my love for the Indonesian rainforest, and the animals and communities that called it home, which led me to change directions. Starting first with electives in conservation science and global environmental governance, and later health and human rights, and just transition, I forged a path towards a career in planetary health, appreciating that the Earth system is a deeply-interconnected network of human activities and ecosystem services, which must be addressed as such. Having grown up in an international environment, living across Indonesia, and later working across Europe, Southeast Asia, Kenya and Ethiopia, I bring a cross-cultural approach to my work. Recognising that in a digital age, an international mindset of acceptance and appreciation is crucial to addressing issues of global importance. I am a passionate writer, both in creative and academic realms. My career ambition is to make science accessible and actionable, translating research into meaningful change for people and the planet. As such, I offer services in: * Grant-writing, grant acquisition, and fundraising * Scientific communications, including strategy, social media, press releases, website development, branding, technical editing, and writing blogs, proposals, and reports * Corporate sustainability reporting and strategy support, with extensive knowledge of reporting standards * Internal management and communications * Event planning and coordination * Partner development and stakeholder engagement”
